Germany reached the quarterfinals of the tournament with a historic win. The team had never before won all three matches at the group stage, but finally did it at EURO 2012.

The national football team of Denmark leave the tournament after a defeat to Germany. The match was last chance for the Scandinavian country to qualify for the quarterfinals of EURO 2012.

Expected but not easy, Germany win 2-1 over Denmark. Thus the Mannschaft finished unbeaten and took the first place in EURO 2012 Group B.
For Man of the Match was awarded Lukan Podolski who played his гаме #100 for Germany.
